The Active Autowerke E92 M3 exhaust is 100% 304 polished stainless steel and weighs in at 41 Lbs (19 kg). Active Autowerke claims an additional 15 hp and 7 Ft/Lbs with key gains in the mid-range. An active noise cancelling chamber eliminates drone while allowing a rich mellow sound. The 3-inch mandrel bent tubing ends with 90mm tips that feature the AA logo and a trick system to fine tune the exhaust's position. BMW factory style hardware makes installation a breeze with no need for cutting or welding.

Meisterschaft systems are developed by GTHaus to provide maximum performance gain without sacrificing the exhaust note. Careful construction, the highest grade T304 SUS and high grade glass wool pack is used for Meisterschaft exhaust units. 4 x 83 round or round-split Stainless Steel tips are available in a chrome, black chrome or heat baked dry carbon fiber finish. A black anodized Aero Shield is offered as an extra to minimize aerodynamic drag. This product is not EPA or CARB approved and is intended for off-road use only.

The 15 Lbs (7 kg) Meisterschat GT Titanium exhaust's wheight is only 70% of the original BMW unit. All systems are tuned to deliver maximum performance gains coupled with an exotic exhaust note. Meisterschaft uses only high grade T304 titanium from Shin Nippon Steel. The blue-torched exhaust tips are available in a Round or a Round Split design. To help aerodynimcs Meisterschaft provides an optional Aero Shield in anodized black.

The Vörsteiner exhaust includes titanium rear- and cross-sections. The 90mm titanium tips come with a laser etched Vorsteiner logo and can be blue-torched as an option. The free flowing design increases power while a 38 Lbs (17 kg) weight saving increases the power to weight ratio. The distinctive titanium sound brings an aggressive tone without drone. Vörsteiner's exhaust uses the original BMW mounting points to ensures perfect fitment. Vörsteiner delivers a 1 year limited warranty and a stamped serial number to guarentee durability and exclusivity.

BMW M3 (E92) Coupe Axle-Back Exhaust
Replacing the exhaust from the rear axle back has a small effect on horsepower but a lightweight piece is beneficial to the power/weight ratio. The main raison for buying an aftermarket exhaust is the sound. For your convience there are video clips included but please note that the low quality does no justice to the actual sound produced.
